Education Beyond the Classroom

Aaron Kennerk, current student

While IPFW’s main purpose is to provide students with a quality education, there are a variety of additional services to help students acquire the right skills to achieve their dream career.

IPFW Career Services is dedicated to turning graduates into new hires. In-class presentations on interviewing and career strategies, writing résumés and cover letters, and networking are just the tip of the iceberg in terms of the guidance Career Services provides.

In mock interview sessions, students can learn about the interviewing process and build upon their skills for future preparation. Career fairs are also offered once a semester so students can learn about jobs in northeast Indiana and network with potential employers.

Current student Aaron Kennerk says, “IPFW not only educates, they have been guiding me to a better future by providing me with the resources I need to succeed. Without IPFW, I would… not [be] reaching my fullest potential.”
